As the Royal Cup competition sets to kick off in few days, disciplinary actions have been taken against two players of the tournament by banning them from participating to serve as deterrent to others.
Those ban by the disciplinary committee are, Bernard Ebadan who registered with Excellent FC and Ekete United while Epini of Ovwian United also register for Invincible Leopard of Warri.
According to the Media Officer of the competition, Jahrock Ujewe, “Ebadan was registered for the competition to play with Excellent FC of Ughelli and at the same time as a player with Ekete United.
“Epini registered with Ovwian United with his real name, and he used a a ferocious name, Amos to register with Invincible Leopard FC of Warri.
The chairman of Disciplinary Sub Committee, Onome Ubini, in his statement urged all participating teams to be truthful, transparent, and play according to the rules of the game.
“All teams should make use of this opportunity to be fair with one another,” Ubini stated.
“Be transparent and play according to the rules of the game.”

The 13th edition of the Royal Cup will officially get under way on Saturday, September 14, 2019 when Texas Sport lock horns with Royal FC by 10am at the All Saints Anglican Church Field in Asaba.
